Judges 3:7-11 is included in this period.
|Othniel||Cushan-Rishathaim||1 Ch 4:13; Jos 15:17; Jdg 1:13; Judg 3:9-11||40||1371||1332||
Othniel is said to be Caleb's younger brother in Joshua and Judges. But, Caleb was probably his nephew. If Caleb was older, Jephunneh, father of Caleb, was Othniel's brother and must have been enough older to have a son older than Othniel. Or possibly the verses can be translated "younger brother Caleb".

Judges 3:12-31 is included in this period.
|Ehud||Elgon king of Moab||Judg 3:15-16,30; 3:20-21, 23, 26; 4:1; 1 Ch 8:6||80||1315||1236||
The Gera mentioed in Judges can not be a grandson of Benjamin as too much time has passed. This is probably a later Gera of the Gera clan descended from one of the Geras mentioned as Bela's sons. The Bible is silent on how long Ehud was a Judge. Just that Shamgar followed him during the 80 years of rest begun by Ehud. This Ehud is not to be confused with the Benjamite so listed in David's census arounf 947 BC.

|Shamgar||Elgon king of Moab||Judg 3:31; 5:6||80||1315||1236||
Shamgar overlapped with Ehud and maybe Deborah, see Judg 5:6; 4:17. We don't know when Shamgar began as a Judge. Just sometime in the 80 years of rest began by Ehud. The Bible is silent on the number of years Shamgar was a Judge.
Judges 4:1-5:31 is included in this period.
|Deborah||Jabin king of Canaan||Judg 4:4; 5:31||40||1217||1178|
Judges 6:1-10:6 is included in this period.
|Gideon (Jerubball)||Midianites||Judg 6:11;24;34; 8:28;34||40||1172||1133||
Perhaps the greatest Judge of Israel. During a time when Israel had abandoned the Lord and turned to worshipping Baal, the load appeared to Gideon, from the weakest clan in Manasseh and the least in his family. The Lord told him he would strike down all the Midianites, leaving non alive. Gideon gathered 32,000 men to fight the Midianites, Amalekites and others, The Lord had Gideon send all but 300 home so that Israel could not boast that they defeated their enemy. Gideon and the 300 men routed the enemy and the Israelites asked Gideon to rule over them. He refused, but received 1,700 shekels of gold from them with which he made an ephod placed in Ophrah. The Israelites prostituted themselves by worshipping the ephod.

|Abimelech||Midianites||Jdg 8:31; 9:1,5,22-23||3||1133||1131||
Abimelech (Abimelek) was the bastard son of Gideon. While his father promised that he nor his sons would not rule over Israel Abimelech wanted to be their king. He murdered 69 of his 70 brothers. The youngest, Jotham, escaped and cursed Abimelech and Shechem. The curse was fulfilled.
